A woman in Florida said she was still upset after she found a giant python in the washing machine. WPEC reported that Emily Visnic of West Palm Beach, Florida, was preparing to load a washing machine when she saw snake skin. Ms. Visnic thought it was just the snake print clothing she was wearing, and she reached out and pulled it out of the washing machine, and was greatly shocked.
“I lowered my head and saw snakeskin, like,’Hmm. I put snakeskin here?” I walked down and it started to slide, oh my goodness. I screamed loudly. It’s a huge python,” Emily Visnic said.
Ms. Visnic recently moved from Connecticut to Florida. She said she didn’t know how the snake got into the washing machine-but it made her scream and leave the room.
According to a report by the CBS in Miami, she called the maintenance team of her apartment to remove the snake. They didn’t tell her what they did, but they did have some ideas about the origin of python.
According to reports, the day before Ms. Visnic spotted the python, a neighbor heard hissing noise, leading animal control personnel to believe that it might be a pet entering the vent of the building.
According to the US Geological Survey, the number of exotic pythons in Florida has surged in recent years. They are considered an invasive species that will compete with native wildlife for food, including mammals, birds and other reptiles.
